Danielle has 40 years of dance training and has been teaching dance for 28 years. Her dance training has regularly included pilates and weight training to help her become a more well-rounded athlete. She minored in dance at Brenau University, where she enjoyed Exercise Science and learning how to create different workouts for individuals to help them achieve their fitness and strength goals. In addition to dance, she has also coached high school cheerleading and dance teams. She fell in love with fitness when she started doing daily boot camp workouts and personal training sessions, along with boxing. In 2018, she took her love for dance and fitness and combined it to create Elevate Barre. She spent hours studying and learning as much as possible to help develop the unique format used for Elevate Barre classes that provide a full body workout each class, while also building in a much needed rest period for safety and recovery. Danielle also became certified through Progressing Ballet Technique during this time, which is an innovative body conditioning and strengthening program, that has widely been used not only for dancers, but by athletes and physical and physiotherapists world wide. She loves barre because there are so many ways to change up the workouts and keep it fresh! It is also accessible to everybody, with options that work for all fitness levels. She’s excited to continue to develop and add programs at Elevate Barre and build an amazing, supportive fitness community. Danielle also holds multiple certifications through Barre Above and Barre Intensity, and is also a Barre Intensity Ambassador.
